Carl Miller built one of the last Dolmar branded ones for me..Stock?
There used to be a plant near me in Troy, PA that bought ash logs from the mill across the road, bucked them to length, and cored the rounds for bat blanks. They would then kiln try them and ship to Louisville Slugger for turning on the lathes.Interesting reading PA ash.

You were right about those spikes being HARD! I just kept sharpening the bit until I was done. Bought all the parts at the hardware store, total cost under $3. Going to do the rest of the Dolkita so I’m buying a solid carbide drill bit, $14. I used a e-clip to secure the roller, the bolt just extends thru the inner spike for strength.View attachment 171598 These things are not easy to drill through . I was determined to use the 3 point spikes instead of buying the ones on the new saws. I ended up making a pilot hole with a carbide burr and followed up with the right size drill bits. Should be better than the crappy metal catcher.
Did you buy it? 70 cc smurf, just below a 90cc on desirability.
Define NEED....You really don't NEED it Dan. Not with the saws you have. It's a tweener. Lol

So, there I was minding my own business and buying a can of BBQ paint at the local tool store. And out of the corner of my eye, I see a blue Pegasus sitting on the shelf.....

I think I remember a price of 690 on it, but don't quote me on that. And, even so, this is Greece--only fools pay full retail.
I'll give the fella a call and see what price he can let it go for cash. I know him well enough to make a good deal on it.
What's not to like about triplets?Don't talk him down too much or I may end up like @Wilhelm with 64, 73, and 79 cc variants, only in smurf blue... must resist the temptation.
Triplets count as one with triple the fun - and I have four of them!Trifecta...
