Not sure what you’re trying to achieve but when heating and bending plastic without having it collapse or kink fill the plastic withe firmly packed sand and seal the ends. Then you can heat and bend the plastic with minimal distortion.We all know the HD doesn't flow as well.
I'm using it because I like the housing, it provides me with more room for another type of filter.
I'm having trouble modeling the elbow I want to create. A tapered elbow is a tough one in solid works. I'll get it beat yet.

Dude... but larger is much more betterer.Mine was one of the ones that Mike built that was much slower with the HD kit on. I use to have his videos but can’t find them.
That’s why I’m running the mesh filter now. It’s picked up since switching from the flocked one.
Your not alone in your thinking .....I know it’s in our nature to want “more power” but I’m thrilled with what this saw makes currently as it sits with the mesh.
