No, The 153 is all by it self.

I don't agree at least on electronic ign. I have sem in mine with the only mod was the flywheel needed the corner rounded over to fit the 153 fan. I used a 123-143 flywheel,

You don't have to agree, You made another ignition work.
The fact is the 153 ignition IS all by itself.

I do believe the Bosch electronic ignition on the 153 is the same as the older 123, 133, 143 flywheel is probably slightly different. The sem needs to be matched with an sem flywheel.
