I too partake in the sport of nanny-whacking. I eat them all year long and donate some as well. Unfortunately, the only doe pictures I tend to take are too graphic to share and are usually taken to document some sort of impressive terminal bullet performance.
My Dad use to say put meat in the freezer first then hunt the horns. Following his advise I always have venison in the freezer. I ate smoked deer sausage yesterday.
