That 40 year old thing about got the best of me,no sparky. Didn't want to fool with the points, old 5 HP Briggs so I ordered what I thought was a solid state coil which it was not . So pull the flywheel, cleaned and set the points, assemble .Then the damned thing kept spitting out the rope and sheared the key in the fly wheel .Annoyed the 'ell out of me .Put a steel key in that damned thing and cleaned the flywheel bore and the shaft with acetone ,seated it with a hammer and left the belleville washer off .Success .Fiddled with it off and on for two days and used it for 15 minutes .Not really a success story but I won .
