But like what kind of bar? Mayhaps a 20" to help balance it and then with a rim that big you might have to mod the tail to fit.

I’m sure there are several members on here who would file you a nice “play” chain. A normal large mount husky 20” bar will be sufficient for what your looking to do. The old school roller nose bars are cool though. I think definitive dave sells the sprockets, they aren’t cheap... but you get what you pay for. I don’t have any issues with a 9 pin on 394/5/390/372 with fitment but it is tight. I would add a extra drive link to the chain imho.

Could order you a new one and cut it but people usually decline or the sites get pissed at me for not being a sponser. It could be a new bar from Bruce here at OPE HLS Parts. The Cross, Raisman and Oregon bars are sold here and in stock most times. I do have a few used D009 Oregon bars available but not cut or listed for sale. One was in the pic in the bar thread on converting a tail to fit both Husky and Stihl. I bought some Raisman bars to cut and try. Same pic has that bar. The mount was a smaller type but the bar is just right for a 9 or 10 pin 60dl. A regular 24" is usually needed to cut it for 9 or 10 pin use. Considered making a pile of them but dont think they would sell quickly.

I found my bars. 16 and 20” in husk mount. 20” was cut for a 10 pin on a 395
