responding to Dan,

yeah me too. I like the car, but I don't need it. I literally found it in a bog in Thomaston, CT ... paid $1050 for it, which was about $1100 too much. I'm $7k into it but you wouldn't know it.

The biggest controversy about the car is the engines grenade past 100k miles because some idiot at yamaha/ford decided it would be a good idea to SWAGE the timing gear sprockets to the camshafts.... and eventually they spin....so if you have an sho that is above 100k miles, either you are insanely lucky the engine hasn't eaten itself, or someone welded the sprockets. this really necessitated a recall from Ford, and there was a huge uproar about it, but no recall was ever issued.

i think i have 168k miles ;)

to RI Chevy, ... ptn van? uh, no.

i gots a nissan leaf electric that probably wouldn't make it due to mileage anxiety

my 04 volvo s60r (188k miles)... which has a chance of keeping up with Mike but again I'd probably break something so I won't try

and the subaru.... so it'll probably have to be the subaru

I have a 36' RS non skip on my MMWS 066. I can bring it.

Angelo and I booked rooms for Saturday night, so we're hanging that night.

@malk315 , don't forget that 12 pack we talked about. Bring Jill too....

I'm plum out of time. I want to get the NWP 44.7 260 jug on an 026 built for the event. If I can find the time, the Christmas saw as well.

But the clock is ticking.
I can make good for sure on one of those Al LOL.

I'm planning coming down Friday and will likely hit the hotel too... Store saws safe and sound at Dan's

I gotta make a list of stuff to bring ... Gonna forget something.

Case of Grolsch! Some square file chain I'm saving for GTG... Hearing protection Lee left at Mass mini GTG. Working on getting my hands back on the 97 red lever 044.

We're gettin close boys. Can't wait.

@MustangMike I need to hear the whole Camaro story and details on the mustang... Save it for chat around the fire.

Thanks. I own it with my 2 other brothers. My father used to drag race it in the 60's. All original metal. It was garaged. All independent suspension from a Corvette underneath. It was voted one of the best 100 cars in the country some years back. We got invited to the show. Invite only. ;)

Yup. It is a really cool street rod. Not an ounce of plastic on the body. All metal and joints were leaded. The metal is super thick in the older cars. At the show, the judges had to check the car out with a magnet to be sure. Lol. They kept scratching their heads. Lol

Likely all the saws will fit better in my friend'd Eco Boost PU Truck. It is a 4 Door F-150 4X4, can tow 8,000 lbs and he gets over 20 MPG around town and high 20s on the highway ... Beat That! He loves it!
