I am looking for a carburetor for a 1990's Craftsman wood chipper. It is model #247.795950 Industrial Plus model. Can not seem to find and help getting a new carburetor for this paper weight. So many conflicting information about the brand and type used on this briggs and Stratton engine Model # 133412 I guess they used different ones and Craftsman is not the real manufacturer it is MTD. If anyone has an idea please let me know

Apparently this is a Sears/Craftsman branded engine.
Made under contract for Sears by someone else.
We need the model/type/code numbers off the shroud to figure out what you have.

I do see a Briggs logo in the casting. I'm gonna guess that Sears wasn't helpful?

We used to have to flip through a large book to cross reference the Sears/Craftsman engines.
Tecumseh built a lot of bastard engines for Sears in the old days.
Odd diameter crankshafts in lawn vacuums and other such non-sense.
I tried to always write the cross over model numbers inside of the air shrouds of every one that I dealt with. Some units you just grabbed the number stamp set and small hammer and stamped them some place discrete.
Making a note of the crossover on the receipt was also done, in case the customer needed to call for anything else.

Dug a little deeper.
The engine is item #44 in the parts diagram, which is described as a Briggs 133412-0059-01.
The carburetor part number is 495652, a Nikki carb.
Lots of Chinese copy carbs on Amazon and Ebay. Search for the part number.
Hope this helps.
