These compression reading are just a reference. It is only a static reading. Too much variance with hot or cold. How much oil you run. What altitude your at. But one thing for sure is the Internet likes some compression.

I build high compression saws and settled on one tester and don't worry about it.
How does it run, how does it cut/ tune?
I thought that saw with over 300 took a chit?

I don't care if my guage is right or not.
It's consistent so I use it. It probably ain't right but it don't matter since it's the only one I use.
I don't know if that's true,I've found the higher the better but it's not necessary.So it is ok to say a high compression saw is what is needed to perform? The higher the better right?
