288 has a much longer and wider skirt so porting can be taken farther.

I would leave it at 83 for a bit J, the only reason to raise intake is to gain velocity, you don't need anymore of that. But.... You only have so much room in that case now, you might get a lot of spit back at 83

This is more of a guess then anything. I'm far from experienced when it come to porting. I'm just thinking about the small case volume.

Well, if it were mine...............

Leave the ex and in where they are at, just widen and square to the max. Rework the entire transfer tract, and flatten the uppers outlet.
I do think the ex will have to go up eventually, and transfers may have to also, but I think the intake height is gonna be ok for a play saw. Does this one have a stock carb?

I completely agree also.
I'm gonna widen to max and flatten the uppers and advance the ignition tomorrow. I'm thinking it's right around 200lbs which is plenty. It's only tuned to 13200 in the video and it feels like it wants to go much faster
