I picked up a new humidor, a 100 count. Decided to try the Bovedas again, since learning here that they can be recharged. I bought a 320 gram pouch, good for 100 cigars.

Question: Since the Boveda packs absorb as well as emit humidity, why not over charge the humidor. The Humidor is full, but when I have space, I plan to put in an old pill bottle with a salt heavy moist paper towel. A soaked salt bed is supposed to be at 71 relative humidity. Not only will the salt solution maintain the 71, but the Boveda will cover any over or under humidity the crude salt solution will be putting out. Anybody else doing this?

Thompson Cigars had a 25% off sale, so I jumped on it --

Made my first cigars purchases in a couple years, probably? Freefall auction was too good to pass up. Herrera Esteli Brazilian Stalks are easily top 3 for me, and even better with some age. The Cain F's are a bit harsh to me at first, but get way smoother as the years tick by. I like lanceros as well. Got a few boxes each for storage.
