This is also a Herrera esteli cigar norteno. Lonsdale. Mexican San Andreas wrapper which as a rule I typically avoid like the plague. Good cigar though.

I tried a new to me Montecristo, by AJ Fernandez. It was good. Good flavor, good burn, good draw. Box pressed cigars really are consistent, regardless of brand, of the several I've had.

That's as far as I got. I'll finish the second half tomorrow. I'm more a robusto or lonsdale size guy and honestly, I smoke more cigarillos than anything. Nice short smoke and get on with the day.

I got a couple different types of Bolivar Corfadias in today. I am looking forward to trying them.

Fired one of these up mowing today.


Nice even burn especially for bouncing around on the mower. Leathery and earthy with spice/pepper and hints of floral incense on the retro. I smoked it right down to the nub where it started to get too hot. I will say it’s a tick or two past the medium range for nic hit. What a fine smoke!

I had this Oliva 2nd wig Connecticut wrapper today, it was ok but I much prefer the Maduros.

I probably need to be trying these Robustos, they have been resting for about 1 year.
