Plugs usually. I guess they get tight spots easier.Uneven burn, or something else?

That’s what Bryan Glynn on Cigar Obsession says also, if done properly they are great but when rolling those small diameters it’s easy to get knot. He correlates it to rolling a playdoh snake, if one hand gets ahead of the other it creates a knot.Plugs usually. I guess they get tight spots easier.
I had this one today while hauling corn. It was a Cohiba Red Dot. The band just came off.

View attachment 365844That’s an awful picture but it’s an Alec Bradley nica puro. Nothing special wouldn’t buy it but I’d smoke it again. Heard Alec Bradley just got sold like today?
@JimBear How's your Newair humidor doing? Everything seem solid with it? Humidity holding good and all that?
I was having a hard time getting the humidity above 65%, I had already contacted the company about a broken piece of plastic on the unit.
They sent me info on how to adjust/calibrate temps & humidity so I am currently in the process of adjusting/calibrating & checking.
The reservoir lasts about 7-10 days before needing filled but I have been fanning the door regularly to add cigars & rearrange things so that may have an effect on it.
The reservoir holds about 12oz of water.
I am having a bit of a hard time with the button that shifts the adjustment from temps to humidity but the other buttons all function properly.
The humidity varies about 5% from top - bottom.
The noise is minimal, the interior lights are great, the door just opens past 90* & the drawers slide all the way out.
The humidity on the blue hygrometers need 3pts added to the humidity according to my Boveda calibration pack.

You should be able to get them for around $100 a box/bundle on free fall.Had my first Cohiba Red Dot this afternoon. Burn was great, draw was good and it was a good smoke. Not sure that it's 400 bucks a bundle good, but if I can get them on Free Fall for a good price, I will definitely pick up more. Overall, it was an enjoyable smoke.

I am really liking the H. Upmanns I have.Hey fellas,
Anybody tried the Cusano 18? I had a friend recommend them many years ago, really enjoyed them. Bought a few boxes to stash in the humidor. Can't find them these days. Was told by a local shop they are gone for good. I do like the Punch Club in a Claro, a good H Upmann now and then. Smoke em when you got em.

That’s why I hate on them. They’re a decent cigar. Nowhere close to the same ballpark as msrp. They’ve used the Cuban cohiba name to make the cigar sound valuable. If I remember right, I got both the Red Dots and the Blacks for about $85/bundle. So you're right in the ballpark. The Blue's I got came in a box and I think those were still only $125 maybe, give or take. That's not bad either, I don't think. But, what they go for normally, $385, or whatever, that's crazy money for them, I think. Makes me wonder how much they aren't just selling the name.
