SOLD Chinese 660

I don't use it enough anymore, and I'm afraid the rubber may deteriorate before too long since it is a couple years old. I tore it down recently to take off the Cross cylinder (I'm keeping it) and put on a stock one, and all rubber parts appear to be in great condition. No machine work to the cylinder, so it runs cool, 145psi hot, port timing adjusted to 94, 115, 81 from 94, 123, 90 and it runs very good like that, but the port shapes/width have not been enhanced for better performance. OEM oil line, and the pump has been modified and set where it needs to run, so it oils 32" well for a full tank of gas.

Does it have any OEM parts besides the oil line ? Wrist bearing, circlips, etc.
Has the original cylinder been run enough to break in?
Decomp eliminated?
Muffler opened up?
Any issues with the on/off switch, muffler melting the bar lock, or starter recoil?
Sorry for the questions but it is a used saw at similar pricing of pre assembled Farmertec.

Nope. I thought about swapping the piston bearing, but the FT one has one more needle than the Cross bearings I have, and it was broken in 10-20 tanks with no issues.
Probably not, 1.5-2 tanks.
Yes, but it isn't too hard to put a decomp valve back in. Clamp the bar in a vise and push the handle forward to get a wrench lined up with the plug.
A little bit of a muffler mod, no melted plastics.
I've had some kickbacks when starting, but the starter looks good, and I'm careful when starting it.
The switch is easy to switch off if you just touch it, but no other issues I've noticed. The chain tensioner is a little better than it used to be. I wiggle the bar up and down as I do the last bit of tightening.

Find you an old farmertec one. That's why I filled it to 81.

Is this a good long bar saw? How does it compare to, say, a 661?

I haven't run a real 660 or 661 for a while, so it's hard to compare. I got the impression that it runs a lot like a stock genuine 660, and I'm happy with the torque it has running 32" aggressive full skip, but it definitely feels at least 1hp or more behind the high compression MMWS Cross cylinder that had a much lower exhaust height. I've never really considered a stock 661 to be a long bar saw. The one I used to use I ran 28" full skip with 8t rim, and it was peaky, but fast, 28" was all it could oil to my liking (I didn't know about the pin push mod or whatever to get more oil). I kept the 36" bar on the 660.

I wouldn't be surprised if this one is doing every bit of 7hp. I thought the 660 was 7.2 to be exact, just like the 661. Maybe they recently derated it?
