$3,000 isn't much regarding chainsaws unless he stole a mess of MS 170s. They should have listed the type of saws he stole, so we could appreciate what he took or just laugh at him.
Where I worked, we had a guy take a price tag from a MS 462 and swap it with one on a MS 180 and proceeded to buy the 462 at 180 price. He found a checker who was only on the job for 3 days and she didn't know any different or that there was necessary paperwork for the warranty. Another guy tried to put a chainsaw in a Yeti cooler and then just pay for the cooler... What irritated me was all of the fuel caps and bar nuts that went missing off of the display models.
