I have a bunch of new reloading tools i have never used. Bought them in the nineties when all of us in town were gun nuts. Then the Liberal government decided to take the fun out of owning guns. Most of us took up canoeing and lost all our guns in the lakes...

Well, I'm way out of town now. Currently in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. (Canada). Never been to NT before and came here just for that reason. We've driven over 4000 miles since Saturday evening. Saw a bit of the northern lights last evening but nothing spectacular. (it's only dark for a little over 3 hours).
I have not looked for any chainsaw ads. (pats himself on back).

Racked up another 1000 miles to bring the total to over 5000 now. Still no chainsaw hunting. I was on a hiking trail yesterday near Skagway, AK that could have used one as there were several hung blowdowns along it. I was eyeing them up and Groundi said, "come on, let's go, its not your job". I asked if she would feel bad if we heard of some hiker that got smashed by a falling tree? She said "no".

Left Skagway for Haines via ferry boat. Drove from Haines to Tok where we're overnighting. Tomorrow we hope to drive to Valdez. Beautiful country in these parts. Saw a mama grizzly with two cubs along the road. (we didn't chase them, lol)
