I blew this brand off because it was made in Turkey. I actually tried one (METE MC9LS) out at the gun shop this week and it felt like it was made for my hand. I've carried striker fired Glocks, Sig P320s, and S&W M&P pistols. This has the best striker fired trigger out of all of them.

Of course, I bought it and hit the range. I put 500 rounds of ammo through it without any malfunctions. I even shot a box of the hot Winchester Ranger-T 127gr +P+.

The tiny red dot Is a Mecanik M01. It's like unlocking a cheat code with this red dot.

It has the same form factor as a Glock 19 except it's thinner but holds two more rounds. PXL_20250802_223908867.NIGHT~2.jpg

If you get a chance to try one out I would highly recommend this brand.
The pistol was $460 and the sight was $150.

I’ve got two and want more. They are a good fit for me, I like their function (super reliable), not one malfunction, accurate out of the box. These are definitely the best band for the buck out there. I have Smiths, Berettas, Springfields, and like the Canik best.

Which Caniks do you have?

I've got the TP9 SFx. Its a lil snappy for a fill size. But with the Walther trigger males it a nice clean pull & break. I really like the small optic you got for it. I wonder if its a direct mount to this Canik as well? It comes with 3 different mounting plates. It was the 2017 gun of the year. 20250113_000115.jpg

Very nice looking handgun man. This link shows you what mounting plates allows you to mount which type of sight onto the pistol.

I also now have a Meprolight micro red dot and I prefer it over to the Canik one.
