I really liked this video, I see the old saws really get discounted on performance by a lot of people, but unless you've used something like a 925 or the 2100s you just don't understand.
Some of th 6+ cube Homelite saws are honestly amazing, of course with no creature comforts they're only sought by enthusiasts and collectors.
I've done about 75% of my work with pre 80s saws and the build quality is not really comparable to the modern equivalents.

Restoration is not a game for everybody and neither are modifications if you choose to do that .Some can ,some can't simple as that .
