WANTED Bar for 880 stihl

Just seeing what's out there. I'd like around a 60" bar for an 088/880. Used but in good shape. I think I would prefer a 3/8 as well. PM me if ya got one ya want to part with. Or something in the ball park.

EvilBay had a 50", I believe, on there a while back, but short of that, or WildBill coming off one of his bars, the GB bar Jon linked is the more cost effective option.

Shipping bars can get pricy unless you are Tarzan Zip Lines.

FWIW,

Everyone I talked to sayed the GB bars are considerably more wobbly than the comparable Cannon.

I guess that's why I invested in a few Cannon. [emoji17]

I've heard of a red lever saw, and the like, but a blued crank is a new one for me.

I hope you aren't in that for too much.

I've pulled a new 660 apart and it was blue. If the bearing is good I don't worry about it.

I've seen em blue as well. There was a thread not long ago about a guys saw with
a blued crank. A lot of mixed opinions.

The bluing there doesn't look to be on the rest of the crank like the big end. The bearing will tell the story.

According to a Highly Reputable Source, that blue was there when the saw was assembled by Tomas or Andreas.
