Just seeing what's out there. I'd like around a 60" bar for an 088/880. Used but in good shape. I think I would prefer a 3/8 as well. PM me if ya got one ya want to part with. Or something in the ball park.

Thanks Guys.

Carl,

Just an FYI, Left Coast Supplies has the CN40 in an E031.

Gregg may be willing to wheel and deal a little.

Also, @Icepick69 is a Cannon Dealer.

EvilBay had a 50", I believe, on there a while back, but short of that, or WildBill coming off one of his bars, the GB bar Jon linked is the more cost effective option.

Shipping bars can get pricy unless you are Tarzan Zip Lines.

FWIW,

Everyone I talked to sayed the GB bars are considerably more wobbly than the comparable Cannon.

I guess that's why I invested in a few Cannon. [emoji17]

Do you think the operator would know if the Oil Pump passed on?

The PO hasn't responded to my PM, & I'm not holding my breath.

I've heard of a red lever saw, and the like, but a blued crank is a new one for me.

I hope you aren't in that for too much.

I've seen em blue as well. There was a thread not long ago about a guys saw with
a blued crank. A lot of mixed opinions.

The bluing there doesn't look to be on the rest of the crank like the big end. The bearing will tell the story.

According to a Highly Reputable Source, that blue was there when the saw was assembled by Tomas or Andreas.

Don't mind the Legs.

Carl call Rich at myrtle creek saw shop in Oregon. He used to have a huge stock pile of large mount bars in the 36-60".

Reckon he'd have the big nose .404 tips for mod mount Stihls?
