An 064 hybrid build would be cool to see. I've often wondered how they preform.Great it's gonna have stinky husky all over inside.
Think I should do a 064 hybrid build thread on this saw fellas or is it to close to the same as the 066 one?
Any cylinder I've took of my 066 or 660 and put on my 064 always gains on the 064 chassis. I've never cc'd the crank cases but it could be smaller but the small big end bearing and rod could even it out, I put more stock in the small aluminum flywheel and aggressive ignition timing. But it's just a theory. An 064 hybrid build would be cool to see. I've often wondered how they preform.
I don't believe there's any difference in crank case volume in the 064 from the first 066's but I could be wrong. My 064 actually has a set of red light cases now, mine had a couple stripped bolt holes and I like the 66 oiler better.Similar theory as that of the 044 hybrid? Smaller crank case, higher velocity transfers?
Man Husqvarna makes everything, sewing machines, guns, outdoor power equipment and now boat anchors.
