The ownership is a conglomerate of some sort. My wife did a title search a while back for a former member there who needed the information for legal reasons. She’s a pro researcher with 35yrs of experience and contacts out the wazoo. No joy past finding out it was not a single owner. Actually a bit spooky.

They have been using AI for quite some time now acting as moderators in some areas. Lots of bugs in the system have come up, been pointed out and then fixed. This seems to continue.

I haven't logged in there in years, maybe 5 years ago and don't feel the calling either.
Years since I put AS in my email spam folder, I have no idea how often they send questions about donation or supportive membership.

Last I had contact with that site was when they were sending out stickers to senior members.

Same here and the occasional email asking for money. The only reason I keep my login is for when I do a Google search that leads back to AS and there are pictures that I want to see the larger versions for (you have to log in to see the larger versions).

It was funny when AS turned on the AI bots to do word censorship there. One day you could post something, they next day it was *****.

A gun forum I was on years ago had an autocensor so sensitive that you'd see references to "****'s Sporting Goods."

25 years ago it did. There was an engineer from Windsor and a Husky Engineer amongst others. It was really a totally different site back then. The retards were kept in check and either driven out or kept quiet.
