Any updates to ms462 yet

Getting ready to buy a 462. Have there been in revisions since introduction? Any manufacture dates to look for when buying? I tried searching with no luck.

How does one improve perfection?

I’ve seen a non mtronic version for sale on the classifieds so I know they exist just don’t know why anyone would want one

Carburetor + solenoid valve, control unit was in late 2017. Cylinder and piston was somewhere this year. I don`t know when the other changes were exactly. Latest change shoud be the cranckcase. Changes are made continuosly, it`s not always possible to say when.

The MS 462 came here with the older black solenoid valve, as I know in the US (later release as Germany) with the newer white one and newer carburetor and control unit.

I bought my 462 in Dec 2018 from a seller in Canada.
It came with the white solenoid valve and the new fuel filter.

What have they done to the cylinder and piston?

I don`t know. Part no. changed from 1142 020 1200 to 1142 020 1201. Nobody knows anything. Everything is overloaded and behind with corona and so on.

Give it more exhaust for more grunt but it is x really fun saw out of the box w a 20".

I don’t think you have to worry about any older build dates, No one around me has a 462.
