I promised the lady that owns this saw I’d re-home it for her. She says her husband has no business playing with a chainsaw . I’ve never met him but I’m told he’s a city mouse. Anyway, whatever it’s worth you can it have for plus the shipping. And no, I’m not holding my breath waiting on offers but please do. Thanks! 23CBDA98-57CE-424C-9B0A-3BFF2C7F265C.jpeg 5EEB4912-8492-46B8-8327-5C7630B1DCF7.jpeg
Oh! It has a like new bar and chain with an extra new chain and a bottle of chain lube along with the case and earmuffs. The chain lube is in the bottom of the case . You might could pour it out and use it , maybe.

Mine is my most used saw.
I'm thousands $ deep in saws & I LOVE mine!
I used it yesterday.

I have the hard case also ($60 on ebay for the case alone).
They have their place.

I had an old 40cc one (actually 42 on the tag) . I got it for cheap. Put fuel lines in it and cleaned the carb. It ran great. It didn't have any type of AV. It made my old hands hurt from the vibration. I sold it for $50. I was surprised how well it started and ran.

No. The current craftsman is built by troybilt. They also make the Remington. Pretty good saws too. Aluminum crankcase with removable cylinder. Not a plastic clamshell saw. I think they have adjustable oilers as well.

Well, I’ve opened the worm can. I could get it to run on prime until I touched one of the gas lines. It might as well have been made of wax. I know how to run the lines in my head but looking over what I retrieved from the tank I’m I bit confused. I understand why the little duckbill valve is for but where does it go? I pushed rotten line thru to the tank from a small hole and and a larger hole below the carb. Where does the the barb go inside the tank ? Anyway, here’s what I found inside the tank after pushing everything I could find back into it. 226EB327-3852-443C-82FE-75EE90DEBD8F.jpeg63B7ECCB-D9A5-4160-BF15-4176D6E4785A.jpeg
I can only see 2 holes. Maybe I’m not lookin hard enough. I’m hoping one of you fellows has experience with this. Thanks.

Is it possible that the duck bill snaps into the fuel cap?

It does indeed go into the fuel cap. I
happen to have one of these POS's here in the shop. View attachment 348836

@av8or3
Thanks for the tip on the cap location. It’s back home now.I can figure out the rest I believe. I’ll let you all know when it runs.

My SOP on them has gotten to use Stihl hose and drill tank ports to suit.

Mostly avoid them as the time spent isn’t what they are worth.

I may just do that. The only other choice is Husky curly line. You can pull that thru a tiny hole. Not the littlest one on the saw tho.
