Do any of you know of a good machine shop in the south preferably TX? I’m looking for someone to do some work on an AMC 360. All of the local El-S Juan’s machine shops have never seen an AMC engine. Id prefer a machinist thats done a few. Let me know. Thanks

We blew one up in a Javelin stock car in 1988. Guy came over and told us to come get and old Matador for free. They both ended their lives in the shredder.

I wish you great luck in your search for a decent machine shop. They are rare and becoming extinct.

They are very rare indeed sir. In a world of hurry up to make a buck its impossible to find someone that cares to slow down and put pride and craftsmanship in something.

The other thing I face is quality of parts. NOS components are super rare now. I can see why so many are LS swapped.
