Last week i ordered a AIP piston for my 359, and i was pretty satisfied with clearances and overall quality for the price (dont mind scratches, i made them), so i decided to order another one for my 064 (has a ms650 top end on it).
I had to order this one from another shop as first one doesnt have a ms650 piston.

It was delivered on tuesday, but i wasnt home until today.

After unpacking, and checking this "HIGH QUALITY" box, i was very suspicious as the first box was much nicer and quite bit different, but i thought ok, maybe an old batch or just a different box used for this type of pistons.

After deeper checking i was even more suspicious because this one seems a lot less quality than an "original" one, exhaust pointer was disgustingly punched on top of it, not a single mark or AIP initial (359 has marks),
359 ring was delivered in nice and shiny ("little bag"), and this one in... in... something greasy and dirty.

And the final LETDOWN was after checking gap and clearances... i got in conclusion that this "New" piston has more gap and clearance than an old WORN piston.

Has anyone had similar experience?
Can anyone quickly check pictures bellow and say something more?
I know pictures are quite bad because of bad lightning.

Pistons were ordered from real shops with spare parts, not ebay.
