Howdy all,

I'm looking for a Dolmar 152 or 153 Crankshaft.

If you have one you want to part with, give me a shout.

Also, if you have one, but don't want to part with it, how about pulling some dimensions off it?

Thanks.

David

What You gonna build?
152 & 153 have a different pto side diameter.

I am looking to see if they can be made to fit in a 123/133/143 series saw.

Yes, the 152 has a bigger shaft on the PTO side. That could actually be a benefit for power holding.

I don't have a crank anymore it went to @Lee H a few years ago but flywheel side is definitely really similar pretty sure they use the same base flywheel and clutch is a press on like the 133 style saw so could work. My worry would be if there is enough case material to let the crank fit in the case

That's what it looks like by pictures. That's what I am hoping.

There is a few ways to gain the clearance needed. Between the case and crank I would hope the needed clearance could be made.

Yes, I'm the only watcher of that crankshaft. I was hoping I could find.one closer to home. Plus one from a fellow forum member. If none show up I'll probably buy that one.

Thanks for the link though. I expected it to show up in this thread.

I appreciate any and all help and thoughts on the subject.

I have a couple NOS cranks that I’m having a hard time id’ing. Do you have any pics of what you need?
I don't, sorry! If you post pictures with the numbers maybe someone could help.

In post #10 there is a link to an ebay listing with a 152 crankshaft. The 153 will look the same, just a smaller pto shaft.
