What year is your Odyssey? I wanted to get one but was skeerd of the cyclinder deactivation voodoo.

The only issues with them is the pressure switches fail. They are right up top and take 5 minutes to change. None of the lifter issues like a 5.3 or a hemi because they dont have lifters. Honda unlocks the rocker arms. Basicly backwards of VTEC.

Go find a decent '13 or newer Sienna with a good interior package. The second row reclining seats are a game changer.

I was trying to convince the wife that instead of dropping 24k on a van let's drop half that in to this!

We had a 2014 journey for a rental when or Odyssey got hit. The back seats are tiny. The 3.6L also feels like a 4 cylinder compared to our Odyssey too. Poor fuel economy. Best we got was 18mpg.
