Here is what I have....there are 2 cylinders listed for the 660. last 4 digits are 1209 and 1211. I normally order the 1209 cylinder kit since it is over $100 cheaper but a friend was curious enough to see the difference that he ponied up the extra to buy the high dollar cylinder in the hopes it may be a higher quality mahle casting instead of the standard stihl cast cylinder. no such luck, they are both stihl cylinders although the 1211 cylinder has noticeably smaller and more consistent port bevels.
I measured port heights with a caliper so these arent exact but what i found was that squish will be the same, intake timing is the same.
measurements are with a caliper from the base of the cylinder so not the most accurate but here goes.
transfers are the same from cylinder base to the bottom of the transfer, to the top the 1211 cylinder kit is .030 higher.
exhaust ports
base to the bottom of the port.
1209 cylinder is 1.548 vs the 1211 at 1.574
base to top of exhaust port
1209 cylinder is 2.179 vs 1211 is 2.185
