I could probably chop the PTO side of a 562 full wrap and weld it to the 550 1/2 wrap.

What would you need to make this happen? Powerhead with the half wrap and a 562 3/4 wrap handle bar? Along with whatever you’d charge and shipping obviously

I have a 550 MK1 here but it's a G model and taking the handle off those sucks so I'd rather not do it.

@Mastermind can you clarify a couple things? Does your client need/want a 3/4 wrap or full wrap? Also, is the handle the same between the MK I and MK II?

Yes, one of my customers is wanting a 3/4 wrap for a 550XP MKI that I'm porting for him.

I'm not sure if the handlebars are the same. I sorta doubt it.

Does anyone know for sure?

@Gentleman maybe?

We can weld aluminum. Never tried to bend it. No saw. Too far away. I tried. :-D

Yep. Got it done. Pretty sure Shawn welded it for me. Then I covered it with Stihl handlebar hose.
Awesome!

Was it a 562 3/4 wrap? Have you had done or know if any MKII have successfully been adapted to a 3/4?

Does anyone know if Pro Safety is still building full wraps. I know years back they had slowed down and were just making 1/2 wraps.
