I really was not looking for one but I figured at some point in the future I might want one and instead of paying crazy money once they are NLA I found one.

If anyone was curious about the weight difference between a standard handle and a wrap, the difference is 6.9 oz. I thought it would be more honestly 11418CF5-689B-405F-AC8E-D41C382F83C4.jpegDE1C31E6-DBCF-48A3-8CAA-B9A00AE4C895.jpegABE07F93-60AF-477F-BA85-AB43DF667B0C.jpeg

Nice scale ;)
Occasionally here and in the UK I get asked why they use wraps. What surprises them most is it is required by code in Canada for felling. Every faller must have a full wrap. And in the PNW, it would be difficult to do the job without. Even my old Mac had a wrap.

The funny thing about Canada is that the full wrap is only required in certain industries and in certain provinces. There are many chainsaw industries in Canada that still have very little for regulations or rules.
