I’ve got a 458 Socom upper for an AR-15 platform I’m considering parting with. It’s accurate and I’ve killed a deer with it - head shot on a button buck at 81 yards, confirmed. Would include:
- 10.5” pistol length upper w/9” M-Loc hand guard, and tank style flash hider. Will include BCG.
- 2 magazines
- 250 or so pcs of brand new Starline brass
- 250 or so Nosler 300gr bullets
- brand new Lee die set
- any factory ammo I have left over
It’s an awesome round. Very powerful. Some say it compares to a 20ga in recoil, but I think it’s less than that. This upper is used with any Carbine length gas system. I just don’t use this as much as I thought I would. I had big intentions for it for deer drives, and home defense. I’d just like to go a different route and play with something new. Feeding can be tricky, but not impossible.
If there’s serious interest, I can come up with exact amount of what I have left for components. And also a price. I’m not wasting my time counting all this out unless someone is seriously interested. PM me if you are. Otherwise feel free to ask some questions here. Thanks!
