In another thread there is discussion about repairing cranks…I have the shop and like to pinch Pennies for fun when I can.

I have a machined 2100 crank and flywheel to match that ate the big end rod bearing. If you feel like swaping a new rod and pin into the crank? I might even have an extra cylinder spacer cut.

Nm, I just met the first person to have ever turned down a ported saw.

Ported saws aren't for everyone. I knew several fallers that preferred bone stock saws. It was just how they rolled.

Do you know which bearing it uses, and if the rod is the same as 288/395?

Also, would you be willing to port the jug? Maybe even do a BB despite reduced quality…?

The rod is longer on a 2100 than a 395.
