Wuss. I'll shoot that all day long lol. They do kick, but it isnt a real sharp kick at least. My 338 RUM kicks really hard and it kicks for a really long time. The softest recoiling 45-70 I have is a 1901 Rollingblock with an 18" bull barrel. Kicks less than my dads Sharps and that thing has like a 30" barrel. Kidding about the wuss thing, please dont hit me.

Yeap. My 458 packs a punch too but I'd say the 416 has the most kick. The 450 is fun though, I'll take people shooting and they all think it's a 30-30 till they fire it.

That'd be a surprise to an unsuspecting shooter.

I have a couple JM proofed Marlins. But they ain't going nowhere. I don't care how nice a saw.
Hardest kicking lever I ever shot was my Savage 99 in .358 Winchester .

It sure is. Like sneaking in a 3 1/2 turkey load in a pump behind a couple 2 3/4 target loads lol
Or like when I was around 7 yrs old and my dad handed me a sears branded double barrel 12 gauge that should've been classified as a featherweight and told me I could shoot it. The kicker was that my granddad was still alive and hand loaded 12 gauge shells that were so full of powder and bb's that the ends never fully closed. Needless to say, I was sent backwards until I stumbled into a tree. Funny how dad says it went otherwise.

Truth... My pap did the same to me with my single shot 12g. I hit the ground hard..... Then he looked down at me and said,"see? That's why you should lean into the gun" .
