Forged pistons require extended time to warm up. Doesn't seem.like a good plan for a work saw though

The ones I used took about 90 seconds in 20 degree weather. It was like you could almost hear when they were warmed up by the idle change.

Price of new p/c is about the cost of the Wiseco.

That's what I'm seeing. Found new one for $90 if we have to. Figured maybe someone might have a used one.

I had one that I run on methanol somewhere. It might be in the saw I traded to my buddy actually. I can’t remember for sure. I have a 51.4 jug with a 2 piece head somewhere if you’d like to mess with that. I’ll dig that stuff out and send it to you. I dropped the jug and it cracked a corner so a head was the only way to hold it down. Head has way too much compression as is.
