Have a question, i know there is a bit of depth clearance for the cylinder skirt but if one was to use an xp on one side and xt on the other half would it make any difference to performance when an xp cylinder is going on this build? Just that both case halves are in great shape.

Seems to me like it would work fine.

Seems I did it about 50 builds ago and had no problems but as you get a little bit older somehow ya can't remember every saw you build, funny how that gets

Saw mostly together now and the cylinder base surface is great... will be prepping the cylinder tonight and probably sometime tomorrow will fire it up, that and the 390xp's are vey popular saws in the area I live in the Husqvarna line.
