how about a set of good used cases and a flywheel for a 372 xp xt i purchase couple days ago. Lost a screw and flywheel punched it through the case below base gasket.

I only have a new Case with factory installed crankshaft. I probably have a flywheel but its for a oe. I don't think its different.

Ok thank you, didn’t think they made a short block for the 372, I saw them listed for other saws at 299$ but when I priced the case itself it’s 400$ so I’ll just
Wait till one shows up used with a scored top end.

Thanks I’ll look at the numbers on my saw tonight and make sure it will work on the xt, this may be the best way it will have all new bearings ect.

Did you buy these as short blocks? Was wondering if you had a part number other than the single case number shown?

Yes, I got 6 of them from a guy. The cranks are factory installed. The only part number I have is on the case
