I hate to see one die also. I put over $500 (counting purchase price) in one a couple years ago, but it was in real nice shape. It needed crank & top end, added bearings & seals too. It was worth it in the end.I’m at the $ point where it’s not worth it to do the crank, it’s worth way more in parts. At the same time, I hate to see a 357 die
