Whos are custom spike makers on here. Looking for some bigger but not huge spikes for my boys 346xp. He’s working on getting it ready for Hedgefest. He would like a dual set of spikes. Bigger than this.

Laser would be a much more cost effective and faster method.
If you can intricately trace that spike on a piece of paper with a sharp pencil, I can generate a CAD file and have some cut.
Not sure what the cost would be, but I assume in the $10 range

Here’s oe 346 on oe 357 on oe big dog 357.


I remembered Brad cut down the big dog kit for a kick stand. I kinda copied the idea.

And what I did. Used a dremel cut off wheel, then round stones.

Coat of high temp paint.





Just need to find the roller chain catcher and I’m good to go. I think that kit costs about $8 for both inner and outer spikes and catcher.

Since Jeremy has a source to have them made, is there any chance you could do an outer spike to match? I would love to have two pairs, one for my Dads 346 and one for a 350 project I am currently monkeying on. For that matter, one of my tree service guys has a metric chit ton of 350s (he likes them for the new guys) and he would probably buy a set for all of them.

I made this set a few years back. They're just mild steel which is not ideal. They need heat treated. The outter will bend if I bounce them off the wood too hard. I do really like them over the puny factory one.

This is a good pic. I like how they don’t stick out real far butare taller. This will keep the muffler safe.

I’ve made all mine from stainless and a CNC mill thatvive made.
In this case if I can find them for $30 I’m in.
Takes me hours to make a set work and get them all right.

Maybe EBay I can’t remember. Outer got bent from abuse was perfectly lined up with inner when new
