346XP(NE) Stock Timing

I would like to bring the saw up to stock (blueprint it). Not interested, at the moment, in building it. My question is... where can I find technical data for design value timings, compression range, port widths, etc.?

Welcome to OPE! Good question. Plenty of info out there, just going to take time to read. Husqvarna has some specs listed but it is not what you are looking for.

There are several threads on stock port timing, port widths and compression specs already. Let me see if I can link one to here.

My bone stock 346/NE had 150psi of compression once broke in. Squish with BG was .039 if I recall correctly. That's about all I can offer and that's based on MY saw not a specs sheet. Hope it helps.

I have 2 new 346 cylinders on the bench right now I could give you numbers off of. I timed both lastnight and they were pretty much identical. Ex 106.5 trans 125, intake 74.

Probably, the 2 i have 9n the bench are .010 squish. Just need to take a little our of band

That's a tight little booger. Mine came down to .019 when I deleted the gasket.

I've done 5 or 6 and never got a squish less than .019" with a BG delete. Weird.

The first three I did yielded between. 018-.020 with bg delete. The 2 on the bench now have between .010-.012 with a bg delete.

I have no idea, I doubt that I'd ever even consider taking compression readings with that tight of a squish
