3 Bond 1184 vs Loctite 518

I saw MattyO made a video showing that 518, which is usually good for dealing cylinders to cases, does not adhere very well to plastic. He suggested using 1184 when you have a plastic case.

Just thought I'd put this out there for anyone that missed it. I know some use yamabond or something else, so maybe this could be a good place to discus gasket sealants.

I've been using that old dark brown thick permatex #1, I remember smellin that stuff 50 years ago, got about a dozen gasket deletes with it, no problems yet.

BTW, it is NOT a Stihl product like many think it is. It's made by Elring and has been used extensively in the Euro auto industry for years. Easier to use (and remove when necessary) than any of the others I've used..., which is most of them.
