How does the 288 XP and a 372 XP compare power wise? Im looking at both.

The 288 has quite a bit more displacement than the 372, so it's got a lot more torque. The 372 will be faster in small wood. The 372 makes its power at a higher RPM range as well.

If you're choosing one, then it would depend on what kind of workload you have for the saw. Larger wood or milling=288. Smaller wood and general cutting=372.

On the money JJ. My 372's see way more run time than the 288. It's cool to have around though.
