having a hard time coming up with a good used muffler for a 288. New OEM is out of my price range for now, and all after market I have found are the tube style. They are harder for me to muffler mod, as my welding skills are not very good. I also like having the spark screen.

I can probably help you with a nice unadulterated original if you like. :)

For modding, I like the older 181 mufflers. They don't have the added "bumper" in the front.

I believe @fordf150 had a few in a pile of stuff he bought recently. Pretty reasonable price on a new oem moofler
