I have a 272xp I should have left where I found it. It is missing too much, but I have started it, so i plan to finish it. I would be interested in a parts saw, preferably with clutch and recoil cover still installed. Muffler and bracket, carb and elbow would be great bonuses too... my saw has all of those parts either damaged or missing. I need a decent flywheel crankcase half at a minimum. I shouldn't buy parts from memory...

Are you sure you don't just want to sell me the jug?

Not sure you would want it with the tap broken off in it and all... just like it was when I took it apart... I have an aftermarket one on the way. I am going to get this one running and send it down the road... 1476412601199769707379.jpg

Man, I have a lot of projects... not many are this modern though, not that a 272 is modern... the guy with the tree service I fix saws for is wanting some Husqvarna saws. I am trying to get this 272 and a 262 together for him to see if he likes them. I may sell him my 372, but I would rather move the 272 first... either he or my dad will likely wind up with my 395. I will keep my KS 262 and sell him the Mahle 262 I am building. He picked up three Stihls from me on Saturday.

Inside is fine. No signs of scoring at all. The top fin is busted though. It is a Mahle 52ZN22 W2.14764141046381615202369.jpg

I added a bunch of parts to the site today and do still have a pretty decent 262XP project saw.
There will be tons of parts for the 020AV eventually, but I am concentrating on the more valuable stuff first.

I have an aftermarket one in route, but if a parts saw had one that would clean up, the aftermarket jug will go in the cabinet with the rest of them...
