I’m reminded of a time at a gun show I found myself salivating over a pristine example of a Winchester model 71 Deluxe. It was priced a bit more than I had planned on paying and after my first attempt at working the fellow down he asked me “ What’s wrong with it?” There was nothing wrong with it. It was perfect. I came back the next day with the correct amount of cash and bought the rifle.

Thats a beautiful example of an 084. if i didn't have one
that clean i would be all over it. very nice to see a vintage
saw preserved.
