First up is a basically new 421, 2015 build date made in Germany!
I decated it, started it and tuned it.
Saw includes bar and chain.
$325


Second up is a Makita 6401 p&c are in great shape. I kitted the carb and advanced the timing. Saw has desirable twin jet carb! Runs and oils perfectly!
It does have some over spray on the front handle and hand guard, it however will clean off. Just full disclosure, I don't want anyone surprised like I was.
Saw also includes some extra goodies! I was gonna turn it into a 7910 but I picked one up.

Why, he has a point. But it just means he's not the right buyer.
Just as Tim said in that thread, some guys want the 421 over the 4300, me included. I settled for a 4300 because there wasn't any 421's around at the time. If a guy wants to do the work on the cat himself and he doesn't mind the color, then he should go that route. If you want one with the cat removed you void the warranty anyway so what use is that. I still like the look of the 421, looks like my 79..'s.
All that being said I didn't think the way he went about it was the best, but things always work out in the end.

I still try to be nice about it though .
Cats, I'll let someone else deal with them, I'm not a big fan LOL.
