2 days 1 giant maple removal.

Thanks @Wolverine it’s a fun rig and the crane takes so much labor out of moving big trees around. If we can get close to it with the truck we cut and load logs without them ever touching the ground. I have the 989 trailer for it and I’m tagged for 95,000 gross so we can haul large removals out in one shot. Here’s a few more pictures from that big maple we craned the huge center section out in one pick. Also a picture with the trailer from a big Elm removal

Is this the elm with the darker center? My buddy makes benches out of them with his chainsaw. They are beautiful.

Yeah it’s the really dark center when it’s green but this stuff was so dead it’s going to the firewood pile to many splits and vertical cracks to be good on a mill.
