066/660 Brake handle on 064?

Has anyone tried putting 066/660 brake handle on a 064? and if so how did it end up looking?
Its supposed to be a tad wider than the 064, right?+

It's quite a bit wider. I've done it and used a machined aluminum spacer to take up the gap.

Could you eyeball and say how much was the thickness of the spacer?

I'd say around 9mm. It varies though, depending on whether the brake handle is new or used, and if used, how much wear and tear it has.

thanks, i'd say its more than good enough until i find original one
Probably couldnt even see a difference from other angles if you dont know that its not original.
