The 064 had various cases/mounts for the coils. It would help to know which one you have?

Some will accept the "universal" /std mount coils 0000 400 1300. Early ones had different mount pattern, used a 2-, or 3-bolt dogleg, Bosch coils 1122 400 1300.

Some had both mount patterns with 4 coil mount holes. People have made adapters to use the 0000 400 1300 coils on the early cases (L34 at AS, not sure if he is here under different username?)

Wigglesworth at AS used a 046 "dogleg" coil 1128 000 1309, and used the top and bottom of the 3 mounting holes.

To add confusion there were flywheels with two different keyway positions. Some flywheels had both keyways

Do a search here and/or at AS. I recall pictures being posted of all the various case mounts but can't remember where?

I believe @Mastermind has put new/new used coils in an old 064 mount.

I've got some junk coils/mounts to practice with. I might see how hard swapping them is........

One more thought.

I believe @Mastermind has put new/new used coils in an old 064 mount.

He also can re-key the more common 1201s to dual key 1203 type. He did a bunch of them for me.

1201 flywheels work fine with the universal coils.

Problem with early 064 is the case mounts are different.

There are a couple of solutions to that issue. Easiest one is to make a little bracket with sheet metal to hold the leg of the coil with a bolt.
