038 coil

Hi all,checking a saw today and coil seems toast.Was going to be a project for me.Assume it is an 038,no covers on saw but has 1119 under fuel tank.Done all the usual coil checks, and ohms readings seem a bit suspect.So do i need an 038 coil or will something else fit?Flywheel P# unknown at this stage.BTW it is an SEM coil.
Being in Australia OEM will prob be too dear if available.
AM ok if reliable.

An 038 coil is pretty common .

Thanks Al.So I should be able to fit an 000040013000 in place of the SEM?
Is SEM just the brand?

An 038 coil is pretty common .

Pretty sure the 026, 034/036, 044, 046 etc are the same basic coil, spark plug wires and ground wires may differ..
