WANTED 034/034s/036 Top End

I just won another 034 (straight AV model) on Ebay that looks very clean, but needs a top end. I would be willing to put a 46mm or a 48mm top end on it, whatever I can get. Used in good condition is fine. I might have some various parts to trade as well - let me know what you need. Thanks!

Cool! I already ordered it to my house. I'll look it over when it gets here and let you know what route I decide to go. You're right about those details - I didn't know about the muffler. What is the difference between AV and Super mufflers? Do Supers not need the spacer to bolt to an 036 jug?

The cylinder kit I have is a Brand new OEM 46mm one that someone tried to port.... They didn't do a good job. I smoothed out some of the rough spots and I don't think there is any permanent damage that'd cause issues. If whoever ends up with the saw is interested I'm happy to shoot some pictures of it over.

Update: I got the saw in. The piston was welded/melted to the jug at almost TDC. I had to use a punch through the spark plug hole to drive the piston down and out of the cylinder. Surprisingly, the crank and bearings feel tight and smooth. @Woodwackr is sending me a box of 48mm cylinders to sort through, and I am ordering a Meteor piston kit and crank seals. I'll probably list it on here sometime soon-ish, along with the super clean 048 that I'm putting a top end on.

Yep, I actually have one of your converted covers to copy from my other new 034. So can you fill me in on the muffler differences? I couldn't find a lot of consistent info when searching online.

Should fit jug without spacer. I could be wrong.
